Product Review/ Give Away **DWINK BOX** CLOSED**

CONTEST CLOSED-

NOTE FROM WINNER-

"I recieved the dwink box in the mail today and I'm just writing a quick note to say thank you.
I can't wait to start using it and it will come in handy very often. Thank You Very Much."

I found a great product for moms. The Dwink Box. Developed by a mom, the Dwink box is a must have for anyone with young kids. Basically the Dwink box is a container with handles to hold juice boxes, it prevents kids from squeezing the juice box everywhere. Some of the great things about the Dwink box is it is dishwasher safe ( I have washed ours a million times, still looks great) It has a non skid bottom and comfort grip handles for those little hands. The Dwink Box holds drink boxes, pouches and even the smallest juice boxes.

Comes in blue/green, orange/green, pink/green and purple/green.

Hockey Rules!

Here's Dodge before hockey try outs last Oct. he was only 4 years old.

This year was my son's first year of hockey, It was amazing! What a great sport. On his team was 14 boys and 1 girl. The girl did really great, she gave those boys a run for their money :) We actually found some of the teams they played against, had girls on their teams that were better skaters, shooters and were WAY tougher then the boys. Lets face it, no matter what girls do, they RULE!!

So on that note check out this website http://www.sheplayshockey.com/shop/home.php. She Plays Hockey caters to girl hockey players.

Happy Mother's Day

This morning I woke up to the sweet sound of my five year old singing "Happy Mother's Day to you..., Happy Mother's Day to you..." Then I was presented with a gift, wrapped in beautiful purple wrapping paper ( my favorite color) I opened it and it was a bouquet of flowers he had made at school again with a purple flower glued to the basket. I was amazed at how much thought he had put in to what I liked. It was great. THEN my hubby called from work to wish me a happy mothers day. I assumed that would be it, since we usually do not buy for each other. We discussed going out for supper which we always do with my in laws for holidays, and out of no where he asked "Aren't you going to ask what we got you for mothers day?"A bit surprised I asked and was shocked at what he said. He is taking me for a couples steam bath and massage:) To me: The best gift ever!!! I love my family!!!
How did all of you celebrate your special day?

What Do You Think Of My New Blog?

Restored 316 Designs
After a week of blogging, I decided that the cookie cutter blog I was using just wasn't doing it for me. So I enlisted the help of Lauren from Restored 316 Designs and I LOVE my new blog!!! I found Lauren on the MomDot website. After looking through tons of blog designer's websites, I decided to go with her because I really liked her previous designs she had made. Her blogs were very eye catching, unique, color coordinated and tidy. I found the graphics she used very stylish and appealing. After placing my order, she emailed me with in a couple hours with a design survey and let me know what she needed to make the design. At this time I really had no idea what I wanted. I knew I didn't want my blog to look like my website, since I wanted the website to appeal to businesses and the blog to appeal to shoppers. Once I told her this she sent me her suggestions and I loved it. My draft was done with in a day and I had no errors to fix. I had a few additions but no changes. She was very easy going with the additions I made and had them done quickly. Once I approved the blog it was only hours till my blog was functional. The service was AMAZING. She was great at answering all my questions and was very quick to reply to all emails. I definitely recommend her services and am planning on using her again in the future.

Growing up so fast...

My 5 year old is soon finishing Pre K and moving on to Kindergarten, man where did the year go?It seems like yesterday that I was signing him up for Pre-K. Crazy! What a great year it was. He along with his 16 class mates went to school 3 1/2 days a week. They learned their letters, numbers, to write their names, rhyme, draw real people ( with necks, belly's and even feet lol) They went on field trips to the local pizza shop, seniors home, grocery store, to a play, a nature walk and to the fire hall ( sat in a real fire truck and even witnessed what happens when there is a fire call). They learned about weather, days of the week, animals, airplanes, families, safety and so much more. I as a parent learned just as much. I learned that my son is capable of anything, he is extremely smart, talented, and needs to have time away from mom and dad. I learned just how special a teacher and friend can be to a child. I got to witness the pride in his eyes when he received his first valentine, birthday party invitation and his first special day at school. I got to watch him stand in front of an audience, along with his little classmates and sing his first Christmas songs at the Christmas Concert, and see his proud smile during  his graduation pictures. Ohhhh..... my boy is growing up.
