2004 I challenged my coworkers to raise $2000 for charity and I would shave my head. A week before Christmas they took me up on the offer:)

Wow! What you did is incredible! And it took guts--a lot of women wouldn't shave their heads! (I'm not even sure I'd have the guts!) Good for you! Btw, what did your kids think when Mommy's hair was gone? I'm sure they were very proud...
(I'm following from MBC! :))
Thanks Everyone,
My oldest son was only about 9 months at the time. I came home from work that day with a Santa hat on, when I fist came in he was excited to see me, I picked him up and he pulled the hat off my head. He just kept looking at me and then he looked at the back of my head and down my shirt, I think he was trying to find the hair.
You are so generous! And still beautiful without hair. That is rare!
I grabbed your button :) (MBC club)
wow jennifer, what a beautiful thing to do! u are as beautiful on the inside as out! thanks for adding my button!
hugs,
shelley :)
Wow!
Were you wearing wigs?
That took a lot of guts!
Believe it or not, I didn't wear wigs, after a few days I didn't even wear a hat (other then outside, Canadian winters and bald head brrrr... I feel for the men)
I learned so much from this experience, for the first time in my life I didn't have hair to hide behind. Everyone could See my face, my pimples etc, I felt naked. I really learned to be myself whether you like it or not this is me. HERE I AM!
I am so glad to have done it. I would so do it again, although I would make them earn more then $2000.00 It sounded like a bigger number at the time LOL
And when my hair grew in, it was so soft and shiny, all the predyed, dead hair was gone
Ehat a great thing to do! You rock!
