Three Things You Didn't Know About Me

This weeks Blog Hop theme is THREE THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ME . I hope you enjoy, leave comments. I will be around to leave you some love as well :) While you are here make sure to enter my contests at the right hand corner of the page.

1. I married my husband Dean on July 12, 2003 and am still happily married

2. I had my son Dodge on March 16, 2004. He was 10lbs 8 1/2 oz and 23 inches long. He was born after 8 hours of labour. I had him completely naturally with no drugs. The labour was not as bad as I had imagined, however the after pain was horrible. I went to a year of physio to correct the damage done to my pelvis and hips. I still have problems with my hips 5 years after.

3. My second son Zaxten was born Feb 17, 2009. He was 8lbs 13oz and was 21 inches long. I had him in less the 3 hours. I had no drugs except one breath of laughing gas, which I hated. The labour was extremely intense! But once he was born I felt great. My two labours were like night and day.
I am all done having babies now:(

You did not have a baby- that was a toddler!! My girls were about the same size as your second, the boy was early, so just over 8 lbs. I, however, said YES!!! to drugs! :)

Dang! You've got some big babies! My biggest was 8 lbs. 9 oz. Beautiful pics by the way!

You've got a beautiful family. My ds was only half an ounce smaller than yours -- 10 lbs., 8 oz., and also 23 inches long. However, he was my second and, after a completely natural first birth, was delivered by emergency c-section. I can totally relate to the "night and day" differences in births. My youngest was a planned c-section, so they were all three very different.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

You are a real woman! My mom had my sister when I was 24 (strange, but true) and she had her with no drugs and I was in the delivery room. I however, opted for an epidural. Of course my labor was 15 hours, hers only 3.

Almost 11 pounds! Wow! I thought my 9lb 9oz brother was big!

Wow, what different birth stories! I had a wonderful labor & delivery ( I slept through my labor after being induced and was woken up to start pushing) but had complications after delivery and was in the hosp for 10 days and took 4 weeks after that for me to fully recover and sit w/out a donut.

What fabulous things to share! Beautiful pictures to go with your stories too :) My births were completely different too, one a la natural and the other a more standard birth with epidural and a ventouse - but they wouldn't let me try for a natural birth with twins!

Beautiful pictures! I love the lavender flowers in the wedding photo. And the picture of your son and your belly is so sweet. Thanks for sharing with everyone!
