Moms On The Go Trade Show and Silent Auction
Something new this year will be the Silent Auction with 100% of the earnings going to the Weekend To End Breast Cancer. The silent auction will consist of
The Ultimate Baby Shower Gift
The Ultimate Father's Day Gift
A day of Romance in Sylvan Lake
A day of Luxury
A $200.00 GC for Deanna Hall Photography
Meals for a week for a family of 4
and so many more being added daily
Entrance to the show is Free! Anyone that donates to the Weekend to End Breast Cancer at the door will be entered into a draw for one of two $250.00 trade show shopping sprees!!
First 100 families to enter the show will receive a early bird prize:)
A BBQ selling hot dogs, hamburgers, pop and water will also be set up as a fundraiser.
In addition to all of the above there will be a jumpy castle for the kids, over 50 mom owned businesses to check out, prizes to be won and so much more. The show is open to all and would appeal to men and women of all ages. ATM machine on site.

Getting Fit After Baby # 2
After having my second baby in February, I like most new moms am feeling a bit out of shape. I currently weigh 153 lbs with my ideal weight being 125 lbs. I have been thinking of joining a gym, but then I think when? I have a 5 year old, 2 month old, my own business, a hubby that works 12 hours a day 7 days a week, soccer games, hockey practices, driving to and from school.... It seems impossible. But today while online I was going through some of the websites that are taking part in my trade show and found Jo Dumont. She is a personal trainer from here in Central Alberta. I have to admit her website would not have usually caught my eye, just for the fact that I would not think that a personal trainer would be for me (afraid of the unknown). But upon reading the first paragraph, I started to change my mind. She explains how she was once 215lbs, has 3 kids, has a bad knee and has a hubby that works away and still she is fit. It kinda caught my eye. Her life didn't seem that much different then mine. So I kept reading and wow, her program sounds amazing. She offers both private and group work outs. She works with not only your fitness but your food. Which we all know is a huge factor of being fit. (as I write this I am eating pizza and drinking a diet Pepsi and worse of all it is 10:30pm, see I really need her help LOL). Something else I really liked about her program is she teaches you to work out with out the gym, with out buying expensive equipment and WITH your kids. How amazing is that. I might actually work out if I didn't have to find a babysitter and shell out my life fortune on equipment. Unlimited phone calls and emails are also offered with her training, to help with menu planning and work out problems. Then there is the reward program. Remember when you were in school and they had a fundraiser and you could earn points to buy cool prizes just by selling stuff? Well as adults we get to earn cool stuff again. Basically you get points for completing challenges (answering a quiz, creating your own work out, losing 5", achieving your fitness goal ...) Then you take the points and you can buy a yoga mat, movie tickets, one on one training, a Wii fit and even plane tickets!!!! Now those are goals! Definitely the most interesting personal trainer I have ever heard of, but no surprise, moms make the most interesting business people.

Reading Is Important!
Did you know The average student learns about 3,000 words per year in the early school years (8 words per day). Is your child a hands on kinda kid? Well Usborne Books has a Huge and I mean Huge selection of how to and educational books for children NB- Teen. I spent 30 min on the site and only covered a couple categories. Party Games for Kids
I am really excited about the fun party game toys I found to show you today. Both games are from the KidSmart Website.
First off is a toy Egg and Spoon Race. Retailing for $12.00, you get 4 brightly colored easy to grip spoons, and REUSABALE- BREAKABLE egg shells with, 4 bean bag yolks. Perfect for 2-4 players. How cool is that. All the fun, but with out the mess!
The next thing I found for that perfect children's party was the GIANT PLAY PARACHUTE. It is a brightly colored parachute -10' diameter with 12 handles. Comes with Storage bag and lots of game ideas! Trade Show Vender #1
For the next couple weeks I will be featuring products from businesses that will be taking part in the up coming MOTG trade show on Sunday, June 14th at the Sylvan Lake Community Centre.BATH HOODZ
Today I choose a really cool company called Bath Hoodz. Bath Hoodz is exactly like it sounds, it is a company that makes children's bath towels out of full size adult towels, with a built in hood. They come in a large selection of colors and designs and can even be monogrammed for your special little one. I really like Bath Hoodz for a couple reasons #1 the business in mom owned # 2 the products are home made # 3 Bath Hoodz website is easy to use, bright, attractive and has really cute graphics. Bath Hoodz is based out of Red Deer, Alberta, but ships any where in Canada.
